Incentives
Located in a Military Reuse Zone, companies may qualify for reduced personal
property taxes, reduced or eliminated real property taxes, employee tax
credits, and transaction privileged tax exemptions! In addition, WGAA offers
additional lease incentives for several aviation target markets and the State

Foreign
Trade Zone
Phoenix-Mesa Gateway
Airport sits within
Foreign Trade Zone #221. A Foreign Trade Zone is treated as if the property

manufacturing. Imports may be landed and stored quickly without full customs formalities.
In addition, Arizona
is the only state that has enacted special legislation that makes businesses
located in a zone, or sub-zone, eligible for an 80 percent reduction in state
real and personal property taxes.
Private Activity Bonds
The State of Arizona Private Activity Bond program can be used for the
construction of industrial and manufacturing facilities and the purchase of
equipment. Aviation facilities may also qualify for tax-exempt Airport issued
revenue bonds.
